General Manager / Deputy Director position at Cayuse Technologies. A company owned by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation Cayuse Technologies, LLC, located within the Coyote Business Park near Pendleton, Oregon and wholly owned by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, is looking for a General Manager/Deputy Director to provide day to day operations oversight, marketing and sales, and contract management for the company. This is the top leadership position for a dynamic, new and growing business that provides Software Development, Customer Contact Services, Document Image Processing and other Business Process Outsourcing services.

The General Manager/Deputy Director will provide leadership for the development, execution and compliance for all agreements between Cayuse Technologies and third parties, the financial performance and health of the business, client and community relationship-building, facility operations, and for employee relations and staff development.

This position reports directly to the Board of Directors on matters related to Cayuse Technologies business and to Accenture on matters related to service delivery and other matters outlined in the management agreement between Cayuse Technologies and Accenture. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of commercial business experience, with responsibility for profit and loss, and management/sales experience, or 12+ years of applicable experience without a degree. Strong candidates will also have relevant experience in technology-related fields. In addition, knowledge of American Indian history, self-determination, historical and current issues, social complexities, and culture is required. Indian preference will be observed.
