Pawnee Nation to Host Educational Summer Camp

 

Pawnee, Okla., May 11, 2009 — On June 8 – 19, the Pawnee Nation will host a free, fun-filled educational summer camp, “Pirates & the Deep Blue Sea.”  Offered daily from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm, the Learning Circle Adventure Camp will use interactive lesson plans to promote mind, body, and spirit care.  The summer camp and its activities will take place at the Roam Chief Building, 810 Morris Road in Pawnee, OK 74058.   

 

 

The Learning Camp is available to Native American elementary school students who completed Grades 1 through 5 during the 2008/2009 school year.  Attendance is limited to 60 students, with the deadline for enrollment set for 5 p.m. on Friday, May 22.
